Stacy D. Brown
Career History
Stacy is the President, Managing Partner of Freberg Environmental, Inc. (FEI) and has 20 years experience in the environmental consulting and insurance industries. Stacy joined FEI in 1998 to develop FEI's Site Specific Pollution and Petroleum Storage Tank programs. Stacy has been instrumental in the development of policy forms, rating methods, reinsurance placements and marketing efforts. Stacy is the co-author (with FEI's founder, Mike Hill) of two award-winning loss control books, Understanding and Managing Risk: A Handbook for Environmental Consultants and Contractors and Understanding and Managing Mold: A Handbook for Environmental Consultants and Contractors. Prior to joining FEI, Stacy held positions with the U.S. Forest Service, a NY State solid waste agency and Dames and Moore (now URS), a large multi-national engineering firm. Stacy has worked on a variety of environmental projects including, compliance auditing, solid waste management, remedial design, site investigations and construction management.
