Rebecca Accardo, Assistant Vice President, Territory Manager


Rebecca Accardo has over 33 years solid and diverse experience in insurance underwriting, marketing, product development and loss control. She holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation, has a Certificate in General Insurance and is an active member of the National Association of Insurance Women (NAIW)


Karen Alvarez, Assistant Vice President, Territory Manager


Karen Alvarez has over 17 years of insurance industry experience and has been with FEI for 8 years underwriting environmental engineers, consultants and contractors. She holds a B.S. Degree from Iowa State University and is a graduate of the Denver Paralegal Institute.

 

Jack Baier, Underwriter, Territory Manger
 

Jack underwrites FEI’s non-environmental engineers, consultants and testing lab program along with a program for oil and gas consultants. Jack has been in the insurance industry for 17 years and his background includes multi-line commercial and public entity underwriting. Jack has two degrees, a B.A. in Marketing and a B.S. in Chemistry from West Virginia University.

 

David L. Brereton, Environmental Impairment Liability Underwriter


David has over 14 years experience in environmental consulting, environmental regulation, and environmental insurance. His experience includes nine years as a senior consultant at Advanced Analytical Solutions, Inc. /IT Group. Prior to joining FEI, he was an underwriter for AIG Environmental in Denver, Colorado. David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science as well as a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Policy and Management from the University of Denver.


Stacy D. Brown, Senior Vice President/EIL Product Line Manager


Stacy administers FEI's Site Specific Pollution and Petroleum Storage Tank programs.  Prior to joining FEI in 1998, Stacy was an environmental scientist and project manager for Dames and Moore (now URS), a large multi-national enviornmental and engineering firm. Stacy has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Science from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY and holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.

 

John Fusie, CPCU, Assistant Vice President, Transportation Manager


John manages FEI’s Hazardous Materials Trucking program. Prior to joining FEI John served as the underwriting manager of National Farmers Union Insurance for 16 years. He maintains active memberships in CPCU, and RIMS and is a past director of the Society of Insurance Research. John has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Henderson State University in Arkansas.

 

Tiffany Hasty, CIC Assistant Vice President, Territory Manager


Tiffany has over 9 years of experience underwriting Environmental Engineers, Contractors and Consultants for FEI. She holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation and has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Regis University, Denver.

 

Allison McGreal, Vice President, Territory Manager


Allison joined FEI in 1995 underwriting engineers, consultants and contractors. She has over 20 years of insurance industry experience and is an active member of the Colorado Waste Management Society. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Colorado State University.

 

Matt McPhee, Environmental Impairment Liability Underwriter


Matthew has eight years of professional experience in environmental engineering and consulting with Brown & Caldwell. He underwrites Site Specific Pollution and Petroleum Storage Tank Programs for FEI. Matthew has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Science from State University of New York, Plattsburgh, NY.

 

Vonnie Nuce, Underwriter, Territory Manager

 

Vonnie underwrites engineers, consultants and contractors for FEI. She has over twenty-eight years of insurance experience including working for AIG, Marsh & McLennan’s E&S operation Crump, and the E&S brokerage firm Hull & Company. Prior to joining FEI, Vonnie’s experience included underwriting energy risks, placing facultative reinsurance, underwriting umbrella coverage and running an insurance program for gymnasiums.

 

Thomas Owen, Senior Vice President, Branch Office Manager, Maryland

 

Tom manages FEI’s Maryland operations working with all lines of FEI’s insurance products. Prior to joining FEI in 2002, Tom served as Managing Vice President in the Environmental Underwriting division of Gulf Insurance Group’s Southeast office. Tom has held environmental underwriting and management positions with ECS Underwriting in Exton, Pennsylvania and United Capitol Insurance Company in Atlanta, Georgia.  He has also worked as an environmental consultant in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Tom has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Gannon University in Erie Pennsylvania.

 

Diana Pantle, Assistant Vice President, Underwriter


Diana underwrites in FEI’s Hazardous Materials Trucking program. She has more than 30 years of insurance industry experience work with Continental Insurance, U.S.F. & G. and St. Paul Insurance companies. She holds the Certified Insurance Counselor designation and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Colorado State University.

 

Robert Varnes, Underwriter, Territory Manager


Bob underwrites engineers, consultants and contractors. He has over twenty-five years of commercial insurance experience specializing in Excess and Surplus Lines.  He has handled coverage for contractor’s liability, products liability, E&O, D&O, umbrella, workers compensation, property and inland marine.

 

Cindy Worthington, Vice President, Territory Manager


Cindy underwrites engineers, consultants and contractors. She has over 18 years of insurance industry experience including fourteen years with FEI. Prior to joining us she worked with Allied Insurance Group in general casualty and auto. Cindy holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Nebraska (but we like her anyway.)
